According to reports, Ford’s brewing a low-cost EV platform that could sit under a midsize electric pickup – the holy middle ground where workhorse meets weekend warrior. Imagine being able to haul your gear, run your errands, and not need to take out a second mortgage for charging cables. Sounds great, but let’s be brutally honest – the “affordable EV” has been the industry’s unicorn for years. Ford’s Model T comparison is big talk. The original revolutionized transport by being cheap, robust, and adaptable – you could literally hunt deer with it in the morning and drive to church in the afternoon. But if your modern “Model T moment” still involves a bloated price tag and afterthought practicality, then congratulations, you’ve just invented the world’s most efficient hype machine – not the next people’s car.

Diagnosis: Cautious Optimism with a Side of Eye-Roll

From my doctor’s chair, I’d prescribe Ford a heavy dose of deliverables to go with their vitamin marketing pills.
